A Hindmarsh Island home offers breathtaking views and an idyllic waterside lifestyle.
Gerry and Louise Green built the home 14 years ago, and, with Mr Green being a builder, they didn’t hold back, constructing it to the highest standard throughout.
“I designed this after a Tuscan villa I had seen overseas and it has come up really well – it’s as good now as it’s ever been,” Mr Green says.
“It’s a real treat to just chill out there. It’s a great spot and because it’s off the beaten track there’s not that much traffic around.”
The home, set over three levels, has four bedrooms, and numerous indoor and outdoor entertainment areas.
“It’s great for entertaining and because the balcony is so big – it’s 50sqm – we spend all year out there,” Mr Green says. “We’ve even had a cocktail party on the upper level for 30 people and had a trio playing on the balcony.
“I’ve designed it so each floor is totally independent if you want it to be – each level has its own bathroom and there’s covered parking for six cars.
“It’s been our weekender, but we’ve had our fun, and it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.”
