A REFURBISHED weatherboard house in old Highton is one of 14 properties going to auction this long weekend.

The three-bedroom house at 2 Adelaide St has been restumped, has a new roof, 12 solar panels, new carpets and a fresh coat of paint.

Barry Plant, Highton agent Kieron Hunter said there was good interest on the property because of its size and location.

The property will be going to auction on Saturday at 11.30am with price hopes of $580,000-$610,000.

There are building permits and plans for two three-bedroom townhouses included in the sale.

Price hopes for no. 37 are $340,000-$370,000 and no. 39 are $320,000-$350,000, however the party that buyers the first block has first right at the second block.

An Art Deco house on 818sq m of land will also be going to auction on Saturday at 1.30pm.
