MORE than $5 million worth of land in Torquay has sold under the hammer in one night.
Nine blocks of land in stages 3A and four of the Great Ocean Views estate sold at auction on Friday night.
The blocks ranged in size from 412sq m to 765sq m and in price from $496,000-$627,000.

McCartney, Torquay agent Tim Carson said the top selling block, 19A, sold to a local couple from Torquay.
“(The auction) exceeded our expectations once again with buyers predominantly local, as well as buyers from Geelong and Ballarat,” Mr Carson said.
“We had approximately 100 people attend the auction which was a terrific turnout.”

The average sale price was $569,333.
The Great Ocean Views estate is across the road from the RACV resort and golf club and is a short walk to the centre of town.
