SPLASHING out on a swimming pool and quality outdoor entertainment area has paid off for the vendors of a Bell Post Hill property that attracted interest from four buyers.
They sold their renovated, three-bedroom house at 38 Ward St for $570,000, the top of the asking range.

Harcourts, North Geelong agent Joe Grgic said the house was only on the market for 10 days and attracted huge crowds to inspections.
“The family had renovated the home, they had been there for about 10 years,” Mr Grgic said.
“Then they added an entertainment area and a pool and that made it really like a resort.”
He said the outdoor space was designed for year-round use with evaporative cooling, heating, cafe blinds and a kitchen bench.
The Geelong buyers will also get to enjoy the addition of a separate rumpus room that provides a second living area and adjoining studio or teenager’s retreat.
Bell Post Hill’s median house price rose 13.2 per cent to $475,000 in the past 12 months.
