When it comes to finding a home in the Hills and Hawkesbury regions, buyers really do want to live like a millionaire — or at least, aspire to.
Latest figures released by realestate.com.au reveal the area’s most viewed streets are also among the most expensive.
The most popular address was Hemers Rd, Dural, where over the past three years listings have averaged 6441 views. The blue-ribbon semirural location — which has a street record sale of $6.38m — is well known for its luxury acreages.

Agents William Brush and Steve Ford from LJ Hooker Dural are currently selling 27 Sagars Rd, which has been listed with a price guide of $4.395m to $4.495m.
The renovated five-bedroom mansion is set on two hectares of parklike grounds. It includes a stunning kitchen with a US-imported $30,000 fridge and $14,000 Gaggenau oven. There is also has a tennis court, pool, bar and home theatre.

“It definitely doesn’t surprise me that Sagars Rd is one of the most viewed streets, there are many high end quality homes with some that could fetch in the $10m region,” Mr Brush said.
“When we get enquiries we have to ask a lot of qualifying questions such as how long they have been looking and if they had bid on any other properties in the area — but you are never going to sift through them all and you do get the odd dreamer that comes along.”
The region’s second most viewed address at Kingscott Place, Castle Hill is well known for its Binet-built homes and has a sale record of $2.9m.
Also proving popular were two of Glenhaven’s more sought after addresses, with Mills Rd (4413 views and ranked 11th) and Crego Rd (3706 — ranked 20th) making the list.
Recent luxury sales include 28a Mills Rd, a five-bedroom home on 1187 sqm which sold for $2.95m in August last year through Louis Carr Real Estate. The no-expense property features a glass encased wine cellar with tasting room; a tiered cinema room with LED lighting twinkle ceiling and a 3.5m salt water aquarium.
Househunters looking for a dream location without a hefty mortgage were able to find value at Coba Point, Berowra Waters.
It is the only street within this pocket of the suburb that’s accessible by a boat.
According to REA, its remoteness hasn’t deterred potential buyers from looking at the idyllic spot. Listings in the area attracted an average 5441 views over the three-year period and ranked third in the Baulkham Hills/Hawkesbury area.
Caelia Collins from Riverfront Real Estate is currently selling a waterfront block of land there priced at $320,000.
“It is quite a popular and coveted spot, it is technically Berowra Creek but everyone calls it Berowra Waters,” she said.
“This property has had pretty good interest as there isn’t much waterfront land left there and that also applies to the whole of the Lower Hawkesbury region.”
Also attracting a high volume of views was River Rd, Wisemans Ferry which ranked 4th with listings averaging 5529 views. Recent sales include a three-bedroom cottage on a 1682 sqm block which sold for $600,000 in March last year.
