Dining alfresco is a cinch in most new builds, as the homes are designed with a connection to the outdoors.

But in Henley’s Ashbury 29, you’ll find an added bonus.

Not only is there a glass sliding door off the living room, allowing for a seamless flow between inside and out, but a large servery window off the kitchen, which provides another direct link with the alfresco area.

“The servery adds a functional and stylish design feature and offers a sense of openness,” Henley general manager sales, marketing and design Jeremy Hanger said.

“It also means you won’t need to carry items the long way around while entertaining.”

The U-shaped kitchen and large bench areas will help make entertaining a breeze, while the butler’s pantry offers extra work and storage space. It’s tucked neatly out of sight but still within easy reach.

Other features of the kitchen include a raised breakfast bench in a contrasting material to the Caesarstone benchtop, and an eye-catching splashback that resembles natural stone but is a large-format porcelain product.

The staircase takes pride of place at the centre of the home and features full-height timber balusters that give a light and airy feel and allow visibility through the living areas.

“It is a modern look with clean lines, and the design aims for simplicity, yet with a sense of opulence,” Mr Hanger said.

Designed with active family lifestyles in mind, this home also has a large laundry with a walk-in linen cupboard.

In fact, storage is one of the home’s key strengths. There are walk-in wardrobes in every bedroom, and a second walk-in linen cupboard opposite the staircase downstairs.

Mr Hanger said the Ashbury 29 had “a modern and generous family floorplan with lots of dedicated space to share or retreat to”, from the large leisure space upstairs, to the open living hub and separate theatre room downstairs.

Bedrooms are on the first floor. Three spacious secondary rooms are at one end, near a central bathroom. At the other end is the main bedroom, which has a private retreat space and an ensuite.

There is a suite of facade options to choose from, including the Lara facade on display at Clyde North.

“It creates a strong street appeal with multiple materials that offer a stunning architectural look,” Mr Hanger said.
