Swimming pools add value to prestige properties

DIVE into some of the best properties with swimming pools across the Geelong region as the temperature is set to hit 30C for most of this week.

There is no better way to cool down than to jump into the water on a hot day and these luxury properties with pools on the market could make this a reality.

RT Edgar, Ocean Grove agent Brock Grainger said a swimming pool did add value to a property.

“When you are looking at prestige properties it is almost a given these days, anything over $1 million and people are looking for a pool,” Mr Grainger said.

“A lot of people are moving for the whole change of lifestyle and a pool adds that lifestyle into the mix.”

Mr Grainger said it had to be the right property and price point for it to add value.

“If you are putting a pool in a new estate, it is not necessarily what the market is after but certainly in the prestige properties,” he said.

Here are five properties on the market that will make a splash.
