A Crafers home offers a peaceful escape from the busyness of working life.
Latimah and Ronald Jones bought the home at 32 Cox Creek Rd four years ago, and Latimah says it was love at first sight.
“We were looking for something a little unique and we just fell in love with it and decided to buy it,” she says.
“It’s really peaceful and feels like a little oasis. We’ve both got busy jobs — my husband’s a GP and I’ve been working in the hospital system, and you just come up the driveway and feel like you’re escaping everything, but it’s still just 15 minutes from the city.”
The home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an expansive outdoor entertainment area surrounded by established gardens.
“In winter you can look out over all the greenery, but then in summer we can sit out on the alfresco area or sit up at the top entertainment area — it’s really very sheltered, so it’s lovely to entertain here year round, especially in summer when it’s 5C cooler up here,” Mrs Jones says.
Now moving interstate for work, Mrs Jones says the couple will miss the home enormously.
