If you have ever dreamt of living in a pretty cottage surrounded in rolling green grass and swaying gum trees, this rural acreage at 58 Burlington Ave, Jilliby could be your new happy place.
Packed full of charm and cared for with love, the home has been lived in by Sydneysider Barbara Kearns for 13 years.
The vendor originally moved north for a unique reason – a new-found love of line dancing.

“I’ve got two sisters on the Central Coast and one of them talked me into trying line dancing. I ended up loving it so much that I was driving up here to do it a few days a week,” she said.
“I was spending so much time on the Coast that we then decided to move up and saw potential in this property,” she said.
Mrs Kearns and her late husband worked hard to transform the acreage into what it is today.
“The place certainly didn’t look like this when we bought it – the outside was all yellow and there was no driveway,” she said.
With white pitched awnings, semi tree-lined grounds, formal living spaces and plush carpeting, the home is the epitome of country.
There is an open-plan kitchen and dining room leading to a covered entertainment area – the perfect place to enjoy late summer barbeques with friends and family.

“We had a few parties here over the years, and the grandkids stayed a lot when they were younger. One of their favourite things to do was to ride mini motorbikes around the property,” Mrs Kearns said.
Set on just over a hectare of cleared land, it is no wonder that the kids have had a good time here, surrounded in all the space and fresh country air.
“There is a shed out the back that my husband used to spend a lot of time in,” Mrs Kearns said.
“There’s is enough room for a caravan, a mezzanine floor and airconditioning. You could set it up with music and a beer fridge.”
The property is tucked away in a private and secluded area, but is located close to the M1 Motorway and less than ten minutes from Westfield Tuggerah.
Mrs Kearns said that while she loved the home, it was time to downsize.
No. 58 Burlington Ave, Jilliby has a price guide of $1.3 million.
