The three-bedroom terrace with a $3.3 million-$3.6 million guide is even attracting interest from tourists, including one who saw the street last year.

“We had a call from a guy living in China, who is very interested after visiting the jacarandas on McDougall St last year,” he said.

There is also a buyer from Singapore flying out to inspect the home.

At the first inspection, there were more than 30 groups, which Mr Gillan said was a large turn out.

The 1910-built terrace has undergone a renovation, including a new indoor/outdoor area and a modern kitchen, while retaining many of its original character features.

Other features include ducted airconditioning, gas fireplace, traditional cornicing, high skirting boards and views of the Harbour.

It is located opposite Milson Park and is a short walk to Milsons Point train station and Kirribilli village.

Downsizers and young families are expected to be main buyer groups come auction time on March 16.

“The current owners are a young family, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it was another young family,” he said.

The local real estate agent said that Kirribilli continued to remain a hot market to buy and sell.

“What I’m seeing is that buyers are still interested in properties that are in good locations like Kirribilli,” he said.

The median sale price for houses in Kirribilli is $2.33 million, while apartments have a median of $1.377 million, according to CoreLogic data.
