THE buyer of a two-bedroom unit in Ocean Grove was one step ahead of other potential buyers at auction by having finance organised.
The local buyer snapped up 1/30-32 Dare St for $600,000 after it was passed in to her at auction.
Bellarine Property, Barwon Heads agent Toby Lee said bidding started off strong at the auction before it was passed in and privately negotiated after.

“There were a few offers prior to the auction but two to three buyers couldn’t get finance in order and this buyer was one step ahead,” Mr Lee said.
“There were multiple people offering but banks are taking a bit longer.”
He said the buyer was downsizing to the property after being attracted to the location and renovation.
The coastal cottage has an open-plan living area beneath a vaulted ceiling, two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and a north-facing private backyard with deck.
The property is walking distance to the river and shops.
The median unit price in Ocean Grove has increased 25.8 per cent in the past year to $625,000, according to CoreLogic.
