AN ornate california bungalow in a prime Newtown location has sold prior to auction.
Local buyers put forward an offer for 110 Noble St before auction that the vendors could not resist.
Whitford, Newtown agent Tony Young said the offer was enough to make the vendors happy to accept.

The price guide during the campaign was $800,000-$880,000.
“The buyers are local people that absolutely loved the home, they plan to renovate and extend,” Mr Young said.
“They saw the style of the property and felt they could work with it and do something with it.”
He said the buyers had not been actively looking for a property but if the right thing came along they would be onto it.
“The property brought them onto the market,” he said.
The circa 1930 brick three-bedroom house has leadlight windows, timber floorboards and an updated bathroom.
The property is walking distance to the shops on Pakington St and sought after schools.
The median house price in Newtown has remained steady in the last year with the price increased 2.6 per cent to $800,000, according to CoreLogic.
