National Basketball League executive Wayne Jarred and his public relations boss wife Chelsea are hoping to lay up their Malvern East home for a slam dunk at auction next month.
The 357 Waverley Rd house has been home to the pair, and its two young children, for the past four years.
They now have $1.6-$1.76 million price hopes for the property.

Mr Jarred is the NBL’s major events and programs general manager, and he’s also worked for Melbourne Storm and the St Kilda Football Club.
His partner heads Grapevine PR.
On a 690sq m allotment, the California bungalow has plenty of space to set up a backyard backboard.
Previously owned by an Italian woman for 30 years, the four-bedroom home came with a “fruit salad” of established trees, Ms Jarred said.
“The garden is incredible. There’s oranges, apples, pears, stone fruit and olives in the north-facing backyard,” she said.
The Jarreds have also updated the house, retaining a number of the old elements they loved, plus extending a garage and second kitchen at the rear into a self-contained studio that would suit as a teenager’s retreat.
With both their children born while living at the home, they will be sad to part with it but were ready to move on.
“There are many fond memories,” Ms Jarred said.
The Agency’s Michael Paproth is handling the sale and said he expected the big square block and separate studio at the rear to be well received.
“And the price has taken into account the softening market of 2018,” Mr Paproth said.
The home is set to go under the hammer on February 16.
