Bellarine Property, Barwon Heads agent Peta Walter said the buyers were after an “idyllic coastal beach house”.
“They wanted something a bit different to what they have in Melbourne and this ticked a lot of boxes for them,” Ms Walter said.
“They will use it as a weekender and holiday house and it was a combination of the location and style that attracted them to it.”
