AT least one buyer is circling an original 1950s house in prized old Ocean Grove after it passed in at auction.
There were no takers for 46 Asbury St West on Saturday with the property passed in on a vendor bid of $800,000.
But live streaming of the auction on Gavl could prove the key to negotiating a sale with a buyer who was unable to attend.

RT Edgar, Ocean Grove agent Aaron Jones said the interested party had booked an inspection with a builder after watching it pass in on a live feed remotely from Melbourne.
“We had someone registered who had come through before but were in Melbourne that day,” Mr Jones said.
“As soon as it passed in they teed up to come back through with a builder.”
The three-bedroom house, on 840sq m of land a few doors down from Ocean Grove Primary School, is on the market for $848,000 to $930,000.
Mr Jones said families had expressed interest in the property which would make a convenient dream home site.
The house has north-facing living areas with floor to ceiling windows, a separate kitchen, central bathroom and rear outdoor entertainment area.
