A Darling Point beauty has hit the market that’s part of a rare enclave comprising a mere four homes on one of the most exclusive tips of land in the world.
The Lindsay Ave home is set to be marketed exclusively by real estate industry icon Alison Coopes of Agency by Alison Coopes with a $35 million price guide.
The 900sqm parcel of land with a grand architectural masterpiece of five bedrooms and six glamorous bathrooms belongs to automotive legend Laurie Sutton, of the family-owned motor group Suttons, which has 24 dealerships and been operating since 1943.
Professional photos for the latest campaign are yet to emerge that will best showcase the home.
However, file photos from last time it was marketed — when Mr Sutton purchased it for 18,250,000, also through Ms Coopes — reveal it to be a very special property.
The home, which has Bridge and Opera House views, has 10-car garaging and a study.
It also has a self-contained maids quarters, gym, and cellar.
One of the other four homes on the point remains for sale — it belongs to retired investment banker and yachtie Matt Allen.
That property has been shopped around via various agents, including Ms Coopes, since last March with initial hopes of $70 million. That six-bedroom watefront home is on a larger 2396 sqm block.
