She says she’s still Jenny from the block, but nowadays Jennifer Lopez can actually afford to buy the entire block, and has the real estate portfolio to prove it.
Just like the polymath pop star, actress and business woman likes to collect broken hearts, she also has a penchant for gathering property.

Lopez and her baseballer beau Alex Rodriguez have just bought a pad in Malibu from actor Jeremy Piven aka Ari Gold from hit TV show Entourage.
This latest $US6.6 million ($AUD 9.21 million) acquisition, a three-storey Californian beach house, was reportedly a “bargain” because Piven’s place had bounced on and off the market since May 2017.

At one point he had it listed for as high as $US10.5 million ($AUD 14.66 million).
In that time, the renovated home was also listed as a rental for a head-turning $US40,000 a month.
In recent months Piven’s price tag had dropped to $US7.75 million ($AUD 10.75 million) before J-Rod snagged it for much less in late January.
Piven reportedly bought the three-bedroom home in 2004 for $3.5 million ($AUD 4.89 million) and went about spending a rumoured $1.5 million ($AUD 2.09 million) on renovations to the 1940s-style home.
Since the early 2000s, there’s been a new kitchen added, a breezy white interior, a home theatre, a main bedroom suite with an oceanfront balcony, a games room plus a spa, sauna, and yoga “space”.
And then there’s that 15.5m strip of private beachfront right on the doorstep.
So just when you think that sounds like anyone’s dream “forever home” spare a thought for the power couple who have to spread their time out between several other homes.
The pair own another coastal home in Coral Gables, Florida, a $US15.3 million ($AUD 21.36 million) apartment with private pool they bought in February 2018 on prestigious Park Avenue in New York, a mansion in Bel Air and yet another mammoth spread in the Hollywood Hills.

Rodriguez listed that midcentury Hollywood Hills home in November with price hopes of $6.5 million ($AUD 9.07 million) — just shy of the total they dropped for Piven’s home.
Not only is the groovy pad an architecturally significant home having been built in 1954 and christened the Honnold & Rex Architectural Research house, it was briefly home to Hollywood royalty.
When A-Rod bought the place in 2014 for $US4.8 million ($AUD 6.14 million), it was from Meryl Streep.
The Oscar-winning star had herself bought just a year earlier for $US4.5 million ($AUD 6.28 million).
