But you will need to allow for some extra cash to pay for some transport to the home — which is on Scotland Island.

There are currently eight properties for sale on realestate.com.au on Scotland Island, starting at a price guide of $750,000, for a two-bedroom non-waterfront house.
If that is still to rich for your blood don’t worry. Ms Marshall said she had a three-bedroom house coming to market in a couple of weeks with a guide of $695,000, which is well under the northern beaches median house sale price of $1,760,000.
It is even less than the median cost of a unit on the northern beaches, which is $885,000.
The median house sale price for Scotland Island is $822,500, based on 23 sales to November, 2018.
