House where Jebediah filmed Jerks of Attention video

Aussie rock group Jebediah have been wowing fans on stage and radio for more than two decades, but their latest news has shocked fans around the country.

In between performing at the Australian Open this week, and some other Melbourne gigs, the group have taken to their Facebook page to announce that a “slice of rock and roll history” is for sale.

And fans are lapping it up

“The house we filmed the Jerks of Attention video clip in, (also Kev’s first share house after moving out of home, the inspiration for another certain song), is up for sale and apart from a fresh lick of paint and some new carpet, still looks exactly the same as it did in 1996,” Jebs wrote on their page.

And the response has been incredible, with fans chiming in to marvel at the price, reminisce, and share the listing with friends.

The home is listed with at $1,195,000 — just shy of the Subiaco suburb median of $1,262,000.

The home is at 29 Proclamation St in Subiaco, Western Australia.

And others wondered if “Leaving Home” was also written there, and another asked the question “What’s worth more? 1) Profits from Leaving Home, or 2) Profits from buying that house in 1996 and selling now?”
