“The house was on the market for about two months and we had solid price offers from nine groups,” agent Frank Bartolone from McGrath Liverpool said.
“The fact it was a renovated house really helped – it means there was nothing to do,” Mr Bartolone said.
CoreLogic records show the vendors had been there since 2008, when they bought the home on 557 sqm for $430,000.
The most recent sale saw it go for more than the suburb’s median house price of $793,000.
The vendor, a builder by trade, recently updated it throughout, according to the agent.
“The kitchen and bathrooms had been done really well and there was nice, contemporary flooring inside, which buyers also liked.”
The house has two bathrooms, a double garage and separate formal and casual living spaces.
