A six-bedroom house in Homebush has sold prior to auction after just two weeks on the market for $2.52 million.
The property at 30 Rochester St on a 752sqm block had 36 parties through the inspections, according to selling agent Norman So of Belle Property Strathfield.
The vendors had made the decision to move interstate as they are retiring and were prepared to accept an offer on market price.
Eight contracts were issued, with the eventual buyer viewing the property once before making the standout offer of $2.52 million, which was accepted.

“The buyers loved the layout, finishes, block size, landscaping and location of the home. It certainly has ticked all the boxes for them,” Mr So said.
“Rochester St is a hidden gem as it provides easy access to the best of both Homebush and Strathfield amenities.”
The house has hardwood timber floors, a gas kitchen, an open-plan entertainment area and private gardens.
It last sold in May 1998 for $465,000.
