“The buyer liked that the house was close to family and they were downsizing off bigger land,” Ms Molijn said.
“They wanted a bigger block and they loved the privacy of the house.”
Ms Molijn said houses on blocks of about 2000sq m, such as a the one at 10 Grier Drive, were in high demand.
“They are very popular when they come on and we don’t get many for sale so we do get great results on them when we do. I’d love to see more come on and I personally have really good results price-wise and time on market-wise for the half acre (properties).”
According to CoreLogic data, the median house sale price in Heritage Park was $460,000 in the 12 months to November 2018.
That figure had risen 2.2 per cent in the year prior.
The suburb record sale price was $820,000 for the sale of 2-4 Drosera Close in 2017.
