A forklift driver has been injured after his vehicle rolled over him this morning in Sydney.
Four NSW Ambulance crews called to a construction site at the corner of Willoughby Rd and Atkinson St, Crows Nest at 9.40am.
A co-worker told The Daily Telegraph that it looked as if the brakes had failed.
“The driver, his name is Eugene, ended up lying on the ramp and the forklift kept going, crushing him up against the wall,” the man said.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said the man aged in his mid-30s was treated for arm and chest pain, and possibly a punctured lung.
The man was transported by road to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
