Does this party pad have Melbourne’s best pool?

An extravagant entertainer in Beaumaris has made a splash with buyers since hitting the market last week.

The ultimate party pad a 103 Dalgetty Rd has one of Melbourne’s most impressive pools, about four times the size of a regular backyard swim spot, Hodges Beaumaris director Michael Cooney said.

Buying a house by Noosa-based designer Chris Clout was a rare opportunity in Melbourne, he added.

“He’s won awards for designing some of the larger, unique homes across Australia and mostly in Queensland,” Mr Cooney said.

“What he’s designed here in Beaumaris is a total one-off, it couldn’t possibly be repeated.”

The incredible bayside pad has a suggested sale price of $2.3 million-$2.5 million.

The property has its entire entertainment precinct at the streetfront, with an entrance bridge built over the huge glass-walled pool.

A spa, fire pit, sunken sitting area and barbecue zone are all part of the ultra-cool package.

“As you come in through the front gate, it feels like you’re walking into your own mini resort,” Mr Cooney said.

“Virtually no space has been wasted both inside and out, and the entire property is bathed in sunshine.”

Inside the stylish three-bedroom townhouse is a high-end kitchen, open-plan living area with a statement fireplace, and on-trend pendant lights and chandeliers that add extra flair.

The near-new property was completed in December last year, and lived in by its owner-builder Wayne Pastor, Mr Cooney said.

In just the first week of its campaign, more than 40 people had inspected the property, he added.

“This home is going to attract young families who think outside the box and have an eye for entertaining,” Mr Cooney said.

The deluxe townhouse is for private sale.
