A BLANK canvas on Lake Connewarre has sold to buyers planning on renovating the house and bringing the property back to life.

They secured the 2.3ha property for close to the asking price of $1.05 million to $1.15 million.

Re-imagining affordable and sustainable housing in Geelong

Fletchers, Queenscliff agent Charles Caldwell said the buyers fell in love with the view and the space around it and how accessible it is to Geelong and the beach.

“They are going to do a renovation to the original house and put their own personal touch on it, as well as doing some landscaping,” Mr Caldwell said.

The semirural property has a 180 degree view across the lake and has easy access into Geelong and everywhere on the Bellarine Peninsula.

This view also takes in Campbell Point House, which is now a luxurious boutique hotel.

The solid brick house has four bedrooms, three with built-in wardrobes, a loungeroom and kitchen and meals area.

There is also a three door garage and work bench.
