A BIG block in Queenscliff was highly sought after with five parties making offers on it.
The 950sq m property at 61-63 Stokes St sold above the quoted range of $1.15 million to $1.25 million.
Fletchers, Queenscliff agent James Gladman said the fantastic result was due to the demand for the block in a tree-lined street.

“It is such a large block for Queenscliff and has view back out over Swan Bay,” Mr Gladman said.
“The local buyers are looking to rebuild a family home there.”
He said the three-bedroom house on the site is completely liveable but the buyers wanted to build their dream home.
“It appealed to a wide market, we had people also looking to renovate or subdivide,” he said.
The house faces north while the property with double garage has double frontage creating a rare and wide entry to the property.
It is also walking distance to the Hesse St shopping village.
The median house price in Queenscliff has increased 12.8 per cent in the past year to $880,000, according to CoreLogic.
