Bieber lifts Mosman street into number one

Mosman’s Coronation Ave has been named the lower north shore’s most desired street for buyers, possibly thanks to a bit of Bieber fever.

New data from showed the street received more views per listing than anywhere else on the north shore in 2018.

The street’s 6496 views per listing was well ahead of Mosman’s Lavoni St which came second with only 4532 views.

Buyers pay $100k for absolutely nothing

You won’t believe what’s behind these doors?

Justin Bieber bought Mosman to a standstill during his 2017 Australian tour when he famously rented a house on the street.

The Coronation Ave home where Bieber stayed has also been on the market since the singer’s visit two years ago. Adele is also rumoured to have considered staying at No. 6 Coronation Ave during her recent tour, but opted to stay in Hunters Hill.

Once described as the “house built for billionaires” by Raine and Horne Mosman principal Brendan Warner, the home is certainly impressive. It has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, parking for eight cars and enjoys unobstructed views of Balmoral.

Raine and Horne Mosman principal Brendan Warne said Bieber’s visit generated plenty of publicity, but the house was popular in its own right.

“It’s the best home in the area as far as views are concerned,” he said.

Belle Property Mosman agent Mitchell Soineva was not surprised Coronation Ave was the most desired.

“It’s a beautiful street with amazing real estate, from older renovated homes to massive trophy homes,” he said.

“Houses on the street can range anywhere from $5 million to $20 million plus in value.”

Mr Soineva and colleague Tim Foote sold 18 Coronation Ave for an undisclosed price in November; the only property on the street to change hands last year.

“We sold after only two weeks on the market and had multiple buyers contending,” he said.

The report found that the Golden Mile’s Hopetoun Ave was the third most desired street, followed by Mosman’s Balmoral Ave, with Julian St rounding out the top five.
