“This is our busiest time of the year, we are having really high numbers through open homes and really good quality applications.”
Ms Kerr said there were 25 to 30 groups through individual opens and they were often being leased after just one open.
She said there was a mix of university students, families and medical staff looking for rentals this time of year.
“There are a mix of international and local students and a lot of medical staff rotations start in January and February,” she said.
Units in Belmont are also in demand with 3271 property views per listing and a median weekly rent of $300, according to realestate.com.au.
Ms Kerr said her biggest tip to those looking to rent was to be organised.
“Have applications filled in and documents ready to go and hand them in straight away,” she said.
