THE view across the bay to the You Yangs was the big drawcard for the buyers of a contemporary Portarlington house.
The buyers, that are from regional Victoria, snapped up 36 Point Richards Rd for $1.08 million.
Fletchers, Queenscliff agent Liam Rock said the buyers were making the move permanently for a sea-change.

“We had fairly strong interest on it, most buyers were from Melbourne or regional Victoria,” Mr Rock said.
“The size of the home and the amazing views looking out over the bay was the big drawcard.”
The property has been on the market on and off since 2015 with the vendors happy to wait for the right price.
Mr Rock took over the listing last year with a price guide of $1.13 million to $1.23 million.
The two-storey house has four bedrooms and a living room on the ground floor with the main bedroom upstairs along with the open-plan kitchen, meals area and loungeroom.
The living area has access to balconies at both ends of the house.
The median house price in Portarlington has increased 22.6 per cent in the past year to $619,000, according to CoreLogic.
