THE luxury penthouse at Darnley Hall, Elizabeth Bay has returned to the market with $11 million hopes, amid a flurry of penthouse sales in the neighbourhood.
It was listed briefly by Paul Longmuir and his wife Elaine Kwan in 2016 with $10 million hopes.

The international style 400sqm penthouse last sold nine years ago for $8.1 million after the penthouse’s initial renovation was overseen by the interior designer Tonka Andjelkovic.
It has been listed through Geoff Cox and Jason Boon at Richardson & Wrench.
It was one of the homes where the former Treasurer Joe Hockey mooted forced divestment, after the owners came forward in an amnesty on supposed purchases that breached FIRB laws.

But the Longmuirs, who have since spent $16 million in Bellevue Hill, were actually compliant once the purchase was reviewed. Its latest listing follows a string of penthouse sales, including the Tara penthouse by Laing Real Estate, the Del Rio penthouse by Sotheby’s and Oceana by Ray White.
